Samuel Osei is a Communications Specialist with over 10 years’ experience in Public Relations and media practice. His areas of expertise include: reputation management, brand positioning, media relations, crisis and digital communications, event management, broadcast and online journalism.
He is currently a Communications Specialist at the Africa Regional Office of Newmont Goldcorp, the world’s leading gold mining business, and is responsible for developing and managing strategic communications programmes that enhance the company’s reputation, brand and image. He earlier served as the Senior Communications Officer at the company’s Ahafo mine before transitioning to his current role.
Prior to joining Newmont Goldcorp, Samuel worked with Accra based Citi FM as a Broadcast Journalist and occupied other key roles, including Online Editor and Head of Research and Features. He is respected within the church fraternity for his in-depth knowledge and strategic approach to projecting Church brands through traditional and new media. He has vast experience training, building teams, supporting and consulting for a number of churches and para-church organizations in Ghana and Germany.
Samuel is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, UK and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations from the Institute. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cape Coast and an Executive MBA from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
